Winter

In winter Alleghe offers the ski area of Civetta, one of the 12 ski areas of the Dolomiti Superski. Mr. Mauro, responsible for the snowmaking of the slopes for 18 years, with Gilles, Patrick and the other collaborators, keeps the snow run at the best. Mauro and his equipe depends on the temperatures and as soon as the thermometer goes down he runs to operate cannons and rods, no matter what time it is!

Alleghe has an ice hockey team, Alleghe Hockey. The Palaghaccio is also open as a skating rink.

Summer

Alleghe offers a lot of of walks for families and trekking routes with varied difficulties. You can also take exciting via ferratas. The Alleghe Civetta ski lifts is also open in summer.

This app provide the topographic maps of the area (for a fee or free because openstreetmaps). The maps can be downloaded to the phone and provide useful information during the trekking as they give the hiker's position in real time with respect to the map.

Alleghe is  for families. At Piani di Pezzè, reachable by car or with the Alleghe Civetta ski lifts, you will find Ally Farm, an area dedicated to children open both in summer and winter

The Le Pale apartment is located a few steps from the Hotel La Maison, which offers a Wellness Wellness Center and an outdoor Swimming pool also for external guests. In the center of Alleghe is the well-stocked COOP.

Going towards Cencenighe, the Canguro Supermarket is very large and well served, with food, household goods and clothing lines for young and old.

The butcher

If you love meat, the COOP or Canguro supermarkets have high quality products, but particular mention goes to Mr. Emilio and his Macelleria Faè, in Cencenighe. It offers a great choice of fresh and excellent products.
